"It's hard to imagine a twelve year old being eloped with, but when my daughter didn't come home
and stayed at large for one month, I consoled myself that someone had decided she is old enough to
start a home. My husband had already deserted us; we had lost everything and were virtually
hopeless. In this desperate situation, I sought God's intervention in terms of prayer by several so-
called preachers and the best advice I got from a renowned pastor was to accept that my daughter
was deceased and move on with life.
One day as I was walking down the street in my local township, a small signboard by the wares of a shoemaker caught my sight. It was written,
"YAHSHUA SAVES, YAHSHUA HEALS." Thinking that he is advertising witchdoctor's services, I bent
down and softly asked the shoemaker if the so-called Yahshua brings back lost people. The
shoemaker, a Mr. Njuguna composed himself and told me that YAHSHUA is the Hebrew name for
the son of God and that nothing is impossible to him. "Yes! Even moving mountains", he said. He
prayed for me and preached to me the true gospel. We continued to pray for my daughter, who by
then had been lost for 7 years. Miraculously, she came back home sound and healthy, and is now a
grown up of 19 years. The local church continued to visit and pray for me.
Although my husband is yet to come, I feel comforted knowing that Elohim is very caring and all things are possible with
Him. I thank God for my desperate situation because it led me to the real hope of life, the true gospel
from Jerusalem and to the knowledge of Him." Concluded mama Eliza as tears of joy welled up her
eyes.
